Attaining audit competency in accordance with § 8a (3) BSIG

Operators of Critical Infrastructure have to prove at least every two years compliance with the requirements of § 8a (1) BSIG (Act on the Federal Office for Information Security) in an appropriate manner. Prove, according to § 8a (3) BSIG may consists of security audits, reviews or security-relevant certifications.

The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) provides orientation on its website on appropriate proving methods in accordance with §8a (3) BSIG (Act on the Federal Office for Information Security) as well as list of all training providers with certification competency according §8a (3) BSIG.

DACONIS GmbH is listed on the website of the Federal Office for Information Security and offers trainings during which the “additional competency to certify in accordance with § 8a BSIG” may be obtained. Training courses are aimed at internal and external auditors in the area of IT-security, internal revision or financial auditors and the courses are taught by Boban Kršić who is an active participant and chair of two working groups within the Public-Private Partnership for Critical Infrastructure Protection (UP KRITIS).
